A day at the lake

I was lucky enough to spend the holiday weekend at my lake house. It was a beautiful weekend full of sun, water, and of course ice cream. I also got to do a little antiquing, I can't wait to share all my great finds later this week!

Natural Accessories

I am currently obsessing over this straw purse from J.Crew, and while searching further into the accessories that J.Crew has right now I found even more things I'm loving. They all have a very natural feel to them with textures and colors. I'm hoping  this purse becomes a part of my wardrobe in the very near future.

Crazy for Coral

I'm currently crushing over coral. I think it's a great color for summer, perfect with a tan. For the daring type, pair it with mint for a great summer combination. A little wary? Head for the nail polish, it's a quick (and cheap) way to give coral a try!

The Shops at Target

If you haven't yet, head over to Target and check out the new SHOPS! The Shops at Target started on Sunday May 6, and it includes five "shops". The shops consist of merchandise from boutiques across the country, from Boston to San Francisco. All the shops are located in the store based on their merchandise (Webster in clothing, Privet in home goods) and hanging from the ceiling above the display is the Target Shop logo. My mom and I were running around the store like it was a game searching for the Target Shop logos. We both left the store with products from the various shops, my favorite of course is The Webster, but Privet House was a close second! Go check it out for yourself!

If you can believe it, this past Saturday I graduated from college. One of the many perks of going to an art school on an urban campus is an awesome graduation location, that's right, I graduated at the Chicago Theater. It was amazing and the absolute best way to cap off my college career. I can't believe how fast these four years went by, it feels like just yesterday I was graduating high school, and here I am. I just want to thank all my family and friends who were with me every step of the way. I can't wait to see what happens next!
