Flea Market Finds

Photobucket

There is nothing I love more than spending the weekend at my favorite flea markets. This weekend I decided to stop by Randolph Street Market in Chicago. I couldn't have asked for better weather, or better finds! I ended up leaving with this awesome trunk and a cute throw pillow made out of a coffee bean sack. Overall it was a great trip and I think my room looks better than ever!

BLOGSHOP

Photobucket

This past weekend I had the privilege of attending BLOGSHOP. A two day workshop dedicated to all things BLOG. The workshop is run by two fabulous Photoshop wizards, Bri Emery, designlovefest and Angela Kohler, Angela and Ithyle. Bri and Angela know just about everything there is to know about how to incorporate Photoshop into your blog and they are able to teach it in such a fun and enjoyable way that I almost forgot I was learning sometimes! I have so many new tricks up my sleeve and I can't wait to use them right here!
To all you bloggers out there, I HIGHLY recommend this class to anyone who is interested in jazzing up their blog a little bit. BLOGSHOP was such a great experience for me, many thanks go out to Bri and Angela for starting such a great workshop!

A First Time for Everything.

With the summer coming to an end, and my last year of college rapidly approaching, I thought what better time then now to start my own blog. I've been meaning to start one of these for a while now and with my younger sister starting her first year of college in two weeks and leaving me to be the only child left in the house, I think I'm going to have a lot of time on my hands.
This will be a place for me to share everything that interests me, all the things that make me look twice and things that I love. From fashion and food, to vintage and more I can't wait to explore what's out there and to show it to you. Remember, everything in life is a treasure, you just have to find it!
